Apollo

Deus Solis — God of Light and Song

Apollo is a Roman god of sun & arts, associated with the realm of olympus. Apollo belongs to the olympian generation of the pantheon. Roughly equivalent to Apollo in cross-pantheon mapping. Symbolised by the lyre.

Historical Note

Unlike most Roman gods, Apollo kept his Greek name. He was the only major Olympian without a Roman equivalent, arriving in Rome from the Greek colonies of southern Italy.
