Indian Rulers
Vasishthiputra Pulumavi
the Satavahana Restorer
Vasishthiputra Pulumavi was an Indian king active in the 2nd c. AD during the Kushan period from the state of Satavahana. Died of natural causes.
Historical Note
Restored Satavahana power after his father Gautamiputra. Naga-style coins show a ship under sail — testimony of an Indian Ocean trade reaching from Arabia to Southeast Asia.
