Indian Battles
Talaiyalanganam
The Battle of Talaiyalanganam was fought in 210 AD in South India during the Kushan era, a land engagement against Chola-Chera. It ended in victory for the Indian side.
Historical Note
The young Pandya king Nedunjeliyan II met a coalition of seven kings — the Cholas, Cheras, and five Velir chieftains — and broke them. Tamil bards composed entire anthologies for the victory; he was sixteen.
