Indian Battles
Yaudheya Rebellion
The Battle of Yaudheya Rebellion was fought in 150 AD in Indus Valley during the Kushan era, a land engagement against Yaudheyas. It ended in victory for the Indian side.
Historical Note
Rudradaman I of the Western Kshatrapas crushed the warrior republic of the Yaudheyas — 'proud title-holders of being heroes' — in his Junagadh inscription. The first long Sanskrit prose document, and his greatest boast.
