Indian Battles
First Huna War
The Battle of First Huna War was fought in 457 AD in Indus Valley during the Gupta era, a land engagement against Hephthalites. It ended in victory for the Indian side.
Historical Note
Skandagupta's first encounter with the White Huns under Toramana — long before Sondani. The Bhitari pillar says the Hunas 'met him arm in arm' and were broken on the spot, but the imperial treasury was emptied to pay for it.
