Poseidon

Earthshaker — God of the Sea

Poseidon is a Greek god of sea, associated with the realm of sea. Poseidon belongs to the olympian generation of the pantheon. Roughly equivalent to Neptune in cross-pantheon mapping. Symbolised by the trident.

Historical Note

Poseidon's moods created storms and earthquakes. He competed with Athena for Athens, created the first horse with his trident, and built the walls of Troy — which he later helped destroy.
