Yongjia

The Battle of Yongjia was fought in 311 AD in Central Plains during the Jin era, a siege engagement against Han-Zhao. It ended in defeat for the Chinese side.

Historical Note

The Xiongnu prince Liu Cong captured Luoyang, sacked it for days, and took the Western Jin emperor away in a yellow robe to pour his wine. North China fell to the Five Barbarians for the next 270 years.
