Chinese Battles
Yiwulu
The Battle of Yiwulu was fought in 89 AD in Steppe during the Eastern Han era, a land engagement against Xiongnu. It ended in victory for the Chinese side.
Historical Note
General Dou Xian crushed the Northern Xiongnu deep in Mongolia, then carved a victory inscription on Mt. Yanran. The defeated Xiongnu drifted west — and, centuries later, fell on Rome.
