Guandu

The Battle of Guandu was fought in 200 AD in Central Plains during the Three Kingdoms era, a land engagement against Yuan Shao. It ended in victory for the Chinese side.

Historical Note

Outnumbered ten to one, Cao Cao led a night raid on Yuan Shao's supply train at Wuchao. The Yuan army woke to find its grain in flames. Cao Cao took the north.
