Goddess of Magic and the Crossroads
Hecate is a Greek goddess of magic, associated with the realm of underworld. Hecate belongs to the chthonic generation of the pantheon. Roughly equivalent to Trivia in cross-pantheon mapping. Symbolised by the twin torches.
Historical Note
Hecate stood at crossroads and thresholds between worlds. Offerings were left at crossroads on the last night of the month. She aided Demeter in searching for Persephone.
