The Battle of Aegospotami was fought in 405 BC in Hellespont during the Classical era, a naval engagement against Athens. It ended in victory for the Greek side.

Historical Note

Lysander caught the Athenian fleet beached and unprepared — nearly all ships and crews were captured. The Peloponnesian War ended within months.
