Cleopatra VII was an Egyptian pharaoh active in the 1st c. BC during the Ptolemaic period from the state of Ptolemaic. Took his own life.
Historical Note
Last pharaoh of Egypt. Greek by blood, the only Ptolemy to learn Egyptian. Seduced Caesar, then Antony, and very nearly turned the Roman Civil War in her favour. Died by her own hand in 30 BC; with her, three thousand years of pharaonic rule.
