Chinese Rulers
King Fuchai of Wu
Goujian's Nemesis
King Fuchai of Wu was a Chinese king active in the 5th c. BC during the Spring & Autumn period from the state of Wu. Took his own life.
Historical Note
Avenged his father by crushing Yue and humiliating Goujian — then unwisely let him live. Goujian rebuilt for twenty years and returned to destroy Wu utterly. Fuchai cut his own throat.
