King Wu of Zhou was a Chinese king active in the 11th c. BC during the Western Zhou period from the state of Zhou. Died of natural causes.

Historical Note

Defeated the last Shang king Zhou Xin at Muye (1046 BC), founding the Zhou dynasty. Died only three years later, leaving his young son in the regency of his brother.
