Tullus Hostilius was a king of Rome active in the 7th c. BC originally from Italia. Held power for 32 years and died: struck by lightning.

Historical Note

Bellicose successor to Numa. Destroyed Alba Longa and incorporated its people into Rome. By legend, struck dead by Jupiter's lightning for botched ritual.
