Tarquinius Superbus was a king of Rome active in the 6th c. BC originally from Etruria. Held power for 25 years and died: natural (exiled).
Historical Note
Last king of Rome. His son Sextus raped Lucretia, sparking the revolution that expelled the monarchy in 509 BC. Died in exile at Cumae.
