The Battle of Sentinum was fought in 295 BC in Italia during the Republic era, a land engagement against Samnites. It ended in victory for the Roman side.

Historical Note

Climax of the Third Samnite War. Decius Mus consecrated his own life to the gods of the underworld and charged into the Gallic line. A four-nation coalition broke; Italy was Rome's.
