Megalopolis
The Battle of Megalopolis was fought in 331 BC in Peloponnese during the Hellenistic era, a land engagement against Macedon. It ended in defeat for the Greek side.
Historical Note
Spartan king Agis III tried to liberate Greece while Alexander was in Asia. Antipater met him with twice the men and crushed him. Agis fell fighting, last Spartan king to die in battle for a generation.
