Dong Zhuo was a Chinese chancellor active in the 2nd c. AD during the Eastern Han period from the state of Han. Was assassinated.
Historical Note
Frontier warlord who seized the boy-emperor in 189 AD, sacked Luoyang, and ruled by terror. Killed by his own adoptive son Lü Bu in a palace ambush staged by Wang Yun and the dancer Diaochan.
