Sulla was a statesman of the Roman Republic active in the 1st c. BC originally from Italia. Held power for 3 years and died of natural causes.

Historical Note

Marched on Rome twice and made himself dictator. Author of the proscriptions, which legalized state-sponsored murder. Voluntarily retired and died of a horrific disease.
