The Battle of Pydna was fought in 168 BC in Greece during the Republic era, a land engagement against Macedonia. It ended in victory for the Roman side.
Historical Note
The Macedonian phalanx broke on broken ground. The kingdom of Alexander the Great's heirs ceased to exist.
