Bibracte

The Battle of Bibracte was fought in 58 BC in Gallia during the Republic era, a land engagement against Gallic Tribes. It ended in victory for the Roman side.

Historical Note

Caesar's first victory in his Gallic Wars. The Helvetii migration was destroyed; the survivors sent back to rebuild their burnt towns.
