Indian Battles
Multan
The Battle of Multan was fought in 325 BC in Indus Valley during the Macedonian Invasion era, a siege engagement against Macedonians. It ended in defeat for the Indian side.
Historical Note
Storming the Malli citadel, Alexander leapt alone from the wall into the courtyard and took an arrow through the lung. The army nearly mutinied with grief; on his recovery they refused to march east again.
