Ipsus

The Battle of Ipsus was fought in 301 BC in Anatolia during the Hellenistic era, a land engagement against Diadochi. It ended in defeat for the Greek side.

Historical Note

The 'Battle of the Kings' — Antigonus the One-Eyed, then 80, died on the field. His attempt to reunite Alexander's empire died with him. The Hellenistic world fractured permanently.
