The Battle of Virata was fought in 1200 BC in Ganges Valley during the Vedic era, a land engagement against Kauravas. It ended in victory for the Indian side.
Historical Note
The Pandavas spent their thirteenth year of exile incognito in King Virata's court. Discovered when Arjuna single-handedly drove off a Kaurava cattle-raid, they revealed themselves and the great war was on.
