Seleucus I was a Greek king active in the 3rd c. BC during the Hellenistic period based in Syria. Was assassinated.

Historical Note

Won the largest share of Alexander's empire stretching from Syria to India. Murdered just as he crossed into Europe, within sight of his Macedonian homeland.
