Bias of Priene was a Greek sage active in the 6th c. BC during the Archaic period based in Priene. Died of natural causes.
Historical Note
Sage and lawgiver. When Priene was sacked and citizens fled clutching possessions, he walked out empty-handed saying 'all that is mine I carry with me.'
