the Crippled Strategist
Sun Bin was a Chinese strategist active in the 4th c. BC during the Warring States period from the state of Qi. Died of natural causes.
Historical Note
Reputed descendant of Sun Tzu. Crippled by his jealous classmate Pang Juan, he eventually destroyed him at Maling (341 BC) with a famous tree-trunk ambush.
