Alaric I was a Germanic king active in the 5th c. AD during the Migration Era period. Died of natural causes.

Historical Note

Visigothic king who sacked Rome in 410 AD — the first time the city had fallen in 800 years. Died of fever months later, supposedly buried under a diverted river.
